Will, a washout student at a magical academy who is unable to use magic, is aiming to join the top tier of mages, the Magia Vander, to fulfill a promise to his childhood friend, Elfaria. During the all-student praxis dungeon training he undertakes with Lihanna and the other top students of his year, they are ambushed by a mysterious mage.
